Pirate Ship Records is an independent label with one job: lower walls. The wall between a great song and the tools needed to record it. The wall between an album made in a bedroom and the listeners who would love it if they only knew it existed.

Artists keep their work.
We don't take ownership of masters or publishing as a default. The terms of every release are written so the artist can walk away with everything they made.

The toolbox stays open.
The recording, mixing, and release tips we use in-house live on the resources page — free, no email-wall, no upsell. If we figured it out, we share it.

Rooms over algorithms.
Streaming is great, but a sweaty room is better. We put on label nights to put our artists in front of crowds that came for the music, not the metric.
